Getting the basics right and having realistic expectations will make your journey as a new parent that much more enjoyable, regardless of whether it's a challenging or cruisy time.

• Knowing your baby is well-fed

Problem Solving

Like labour and birth, every mother’s breastfeeding story is unique.  With breastfeeding challenges, the solution can also be varied.  Sometimes a small adjustment in positioning works wonders overnight.  Sometimes it is a long hard slog trying any number of different things.  Give you and your baby a chance to get it going; commit to continuing the learning journey for at least 6 weeks and seek out all the support you can during that time.
