How to pay for your order

You can pay for your Gently Does It order by Visa or Mastercard via our secure website or over the phone. New Zealand customers may also make a direct credit to our bank account. You can select the Bank Deposit option at the checkout and note down our bank details. Please use your order number as your payment reference. This will be emailed to you when you complete your order. You can also pay using bonus points from our loyalty system (see below).

All orders will be shipped upon payment.  Please note that all prices and payments are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Prices may change from time to time.

Shipping

For New Zealand orders, delivery is targeted at within 3-5 days of receiving payment. If you require an order more urgently, let us know and we'll try our hardest to meet your needs. We aim for a completely trouble free delivery service, so please let us know if you are expecting an order that has not arrived and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible with our couriers. We use a ‘no signature required’ service so your order will be delivered to your delivery address and left if there is no-one there. Please give any delivery instructions necessary at checkout.

Delivery charges are $4.50 for orders up to $40 and $7.50 for orders of more than that. We do reserve the right to charge you the additional cost of delivery where you make a large order at one time. We do not charge extra for rural delivery, however there may sometimes be a short delay in the arrival of your order.

For international orders, please contact us on info@gentlydoesit.co.nz and we will provide you with a quote for shipping costs and timeframes.

Product availability

We make every effort to fulfil any order placed with us, but please note that where an item is out of stock there may be delays while we wait for further stock from our suppliers. We also reserve the right to limit quantities sold and products stocked.

Where we make special offers, these will be subject to availability and while stocks last. We do not take back orders for items on special offer.

Refunds, returns and exchanges

At Gently Does It, we source great gentle products from New Zealand and around the world and we back them.

If you are not 100% happy with your ordered products, please send them back to us unopened and unused within 14 days in original condition and packaging and we will exchange or refund them for you.

If you receive any products that have been damaged in transit, please notify us within three working days of delivery. If you receive any faulty products, please notify us immediately and we will happily exchange or refund them for you. With the exception of products that are damaged in transit or faulty, we do not refund delivery charges.

If you have not received your order within the expected delivery time, please notify us immediately so we can trace any lost deliveries with our courier.

We hope that you love our products as much as we do! Please let us know via email or phone if you have any concerns at all and we will work our hardest to resolve them.

Bonus points and referrals

As a Gently Does It member, you can earn bonus points to spend in the online shop. You can become a member by registering at any time, or when you place your first order. Bonus points are our way of thanking you for being a part of the wider Gently Does It family and supporting us with your business.

Earning bonus points is so easy!

  • When you shop, register with us.  You can also subscribe to our email newsletter at the same time!
  • Shop with us making sure you use the same log in each time to purchase.  For every $100 spent, you earn 5 bonus points which can be used to discount $5 off your next order.
  • Tell your friends and family how much you love our site! When they shop at Gently Does It, ask them to put your email address or username into Other text field in answer to the “Where did you hear about us?” question. We’ll award you 2 bonus points for every referral on receiving their first order.  So refer 5 friends and get $10 off your next order!

Spending bonus points – even easier!

  • Once you have earned points, you can receive a discount off any item in our online store, up to the value of your points.
  • Choose your purchase and as you checkout either a) if you have the full number of points needed for the purchase value, select Pay with Points; or b) if you have less than the number of points needed for the full purchase value, enter what points you do have in the Points Discounts field.

Checking your balance

  • Ensure you are logged in and click on My Account at the top right hand of the site.  Scroll down and you can review how many points you have.

Conditions: We do reserve the right to change or end our bonus points system at any time, including changing the value of points. Changes will be published on the Gently Does It website. When earning points, only whole dollars count towards earning bonus points and delivery charges do not count towards earning bonus points. Bonus points earned on items returned and refunded will be reversed. Bonus points cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred between customers. Unused bonus points expire 12 months after they have been awarded. There may be a short delay before bonus points appear in your account.

Gift services and wrapping

Any new or expectant mother would love to receive one of our great gentle products as a gift. We have some beautiful gift sets from a range of product lines and can also put together a personalised gift package to your budget and specifications. Great for workmates or friends and family out of town. Email us for advice or with your requirements today!

We also offer gift vouchers from the value of $10 up to a value of your choice.  If you are stuck for ideas, then you can give someone the pleasure of being able to choose to their own requirements. Each gift voucher comes with its own unique code which the user can enter at the checkout to pay. Please note that if vouchers are stolen, lost, destroyed or damaged, they cannot be re-issued or replaced.

All purchases are gift wrapped, so they are easy to have delivered straight to friends and family out of town. You might like to purchase one of our beautiful cards and ask us to neatly handwrite in your personal message of love and congratulations in the order comments at the checkout. Even if you are purchasing for yourself, what a treat to have a gift wrapped parcel delivered to your door – all mothers need to feel pampered and special!
